I wanted to do a quick blog post on the "white background" technique using a two light setup. Let me first start off by saying how much I enjoy the look and feel this technique gives off. Not only is it a clean look, but can be used in many different ways. I absolutely love the way the light wraps around the subject.
So here's the deal... I used one 7ft Westcott parabolic umbrella with a diffuser and a Canon 600EX speedlite behind the subject, and in front of the subject was a 26" Westcott octa rapid box with a 600EX speedlite. My camera settings were 100 ISO, F/11, 1/160th (my standard portrait settings) and the lens was a 24-70mm.
In the images above you will see the basic setup of lights and the other is the final image.
As always, if you have any questions, please reach out.
